High on the Hog vinyl!
Excited to share that The Band’s 1996 album High on the Hog gets issued on vinyl this April!
“30th anniversary edition. From its first driving percussive beats and fuzzy guitar riffs, High on the Hog soars. More than two years after Jericho, the group's impressive comeback album, the Band still sounds gorgeously funky and unlike any other - even with the loss of two key members (Robbie Robertson quit in 1976; Richard Manuel took his own life in 1986). Now Levon Helm, Rick Danko and Garth Hudson wear the royal mantle, and here they make music with cohesiveness and assurance that come only with maturity.”

Rare Richard Manuel related shirt
In The Band collector’s universe, there really aren’t that many “ solo” Richard Manuel items out there that were released while he was alive. That’s why this T-shirt from the Northern Lights’ 1985 charity single “Tears Are Not Enough” is super cool! The signatures are printed obviously. But there’s Richard’s across the top letter A.
